I came to contact with Expo 2010 recently while working on one side projct. Later on, being curious about what kind of pavilions each country has, I founded the British one. “The studio’s concept is an enclosure that throws out from all faces a mass of long, radiating cilia. Their length means they gently sway in response to any wind movement. It rests on its soft forest in an urban field, surrounded by a concrete canopy that resembles unfolded wrapping paper.” Simple, yet very interesting project of showing how nature is important to us. Each cilia will contain seed from the Millennium Seed Bank.
However, the studio does other amazing projects. I love the Rolling bridge which shows great talent and sense of humor.
