Things are going worse in China again. Internationally renowned artists Ai Weiwei was arrested. This seems to be part of weeks-long crackdown on intellectuals in China, described by a Human Rights Watch observer as “an attempt to decapitate civil society by taking away its most visible figures.” Meanwhile, New York based experimental architect and Cooper Union professor showed support to Ai Weiwei stating will not accept another project in China until Ai Weiwei is released unharmed from detention or imprisonment.
