This little project coincidentally started as few swift illustrations to Bel Mondo magazine in summer 2013.
Asphalt Zeus takes inspiration from greek mythology and tries to confront it with contemporary reality. Athens isn’t town of white marble and cypress smell in warm peaceful afternoon, it’s bustling city teared by sirens and smog.
In the concrete shadow of Mount Olympus, glossy iron horses cover streets with smog. New Gods are dancing night and day drunk with ambrosia; wrapped to never-ending bass line of techno. Asphalt Zeus is new set of collages, prints and drawings. Now in the Shop!
